Simplicity, doing less, semantics and standards are all keywords being flung around the web-two-o-sphere.

writely has been aquired by google and is now "Google Docs".

You see, web 2.0 is usually very short living and you need to prepare for quick changes :)

Web 2.0 is a coined term from Dale Dougherty during a meeting between O'Reilly and Associates (a computer book publisher) and MediaLive International (an event organiser) as a marketable term for a series of conferences.

The idea itself is a new wave of developmental projects throughout the web. Yahoo! Answers is an example of this. Web 1.0 was when webpages were static (non-changing). New webpages tend to be much more interactive. For a much more detailed look, see my source.

Some examples of Web 2.0 sites:

I have just started looking at mobile aps. It seems that there is a divergence in e-learning and wired users everywhere to access their data via movile devices. Harman (CEO of WIZIQ) says they are working in that area but I don't know how that will affect all of us.

Should I start incorporating mobile friendly interfaces with my classes?
